Pin box

I presently have a Trailair air ride pin box on my present 5th wheel and like how it performs. I am considering trading in my 5th wheel for another. The one I was looking at has a Rota-Flex pin box. The Rota-Flex dosen't look it would give a smooth ride, but I never had one before, so I don't know. Does anyone have a Rota-Flex pin box, and how would you rate it?
Thanks

The Alliance fifth wheels come with the Rota-Flex pinbox. Like anything, some will say it’s great and some will hate it. If you use either an Andersen or a Pullrite SuperLite you’ll need to use an isolater.

I removed ours and had a Mo/Ryde installed and it was better. The Rota-Flex is sitting in my yard waiting on someone to want it.

If you really like the Trailair, make the dealer switch it around at no cost.
Tell him part of the deal, if he says, "No", turn around and start walking out.

That’s good if they are compatible.

We did the same. We took one trip with our new 5er which had the Roto-flex box and didn’t like it at all. We’ve since replaced it with the Morryde rubber pin box and it’s night/day different.
