I have a 93 Holiday Rambler Imperial 5th wheel. Pop out motor not working, how do I pop out manually?

What is a pop out? I had a 94 HR that had a slide out.

there should be a long tool that came with your RV and someplace in the skirts out side you should have a hole to put the tool in and manual crank it out . Not something your going to want to do every time , it takes a lot of turns to get it in or out.

I wonder if making a long shaft/tool and using a battery hand drill to spin it (like most of us probably do with our scissor jacks) would work as a te.p fix until a new motor is sourced and installed.

Just another term for a slide out or bump out or pop out.

You can buy the drill driven crank tool on Amazon, but make sure you get the right bit at the end.

However these crank tools can be really short, and for a slide you often need a longer reach. I bought one of these and cut the tool right after the bend - allows me to use my drill to manually move slides or landing gear.
