Raising landing gear

Is it proper/safe to put blocks next to landing gear for support and then raise landing gear temporarily?. I'm installing the Steadyfast system and I don't have a tow vehicle to put it on.

Absolutely is. What would someone do if they had a landing gear sheer pin break (like I just did!), but jack the frame and place a stand underneath?

Safe as long as you don't stack blocks.

What did you have to do to get it fixed. I just got a 26' Terry 5th wheel n the same thing just happened to me. Haven't even had it out yet. Got it used.
