Redwood 4001LK vs. Riverstone 39RKFB 2021

Looking at these two units for our 6-7 month home and using a little trailer to travel the rest of the year. Selling the house and making life a little simpler. Presently have a 28' Airstream but not big enough to live in any length of time. We like both units mentioned in the title but have not had any experience in the Fiver world. The Fiver would stay on our lot in Florida and not be towed around. Trying to find some advise on these two brands and maybe what to stay away from. Any help, opinions good or bad would be greatly appreciated.

Go to their respective forums and talk to owners . Many Riverstone owners seem to be very happy with the quality of their 5th wheels .

River Stone owner here and very pleased with it, was it trouble free....of course not but all issues were handled with the factory with ease. We are in Florida now in a condo campground and there are at least 7 more River Stones here the most we have seen in one place so far. Just curious but have you thought of a park trailer or destination trailer for the Florida lot? I do not know much about the Redwood units but they seem nice of the ones I have seen. Good luck on your choice

Kind of ironic but when we bought our lot the owner had a Park Model on it. They initially wanted to sell as a package but we weren't crazy about the layout or quality of construction. They sold us the lot and found a buyer for the Park Model.

If you are not going to tow it why would you want a towable? I would think a suitable park model would give you more room and features than a towable. If you think that in a few years of towing, wait until that time rather than having a rapidly depreciating liability, and deteriorating RV.

You do not want 5th wheel where you can put a park model. In my mind a park model would be way better than any 5th sheel. You get residential appliances to start with, and probably big windows that will let in a lot of light.

The price on a park model will be comparable or less than than the 5th wheels you mentioned.

Else buy a new dually truck to tow it.

I still think a park model is the way to go.

Just to see what I am talking about take a look at the 'Skyline Palm Bay 2621B'. This is what my friends that stay in a 5th wheel are buying.

A new park model is a bit less expensive than a nice 5th wheel.
