Redwood owners please chime in

Hello,
We think we've decided on the fifth wheel we want.....the Redwood 38GK. We LOVE the floor plan. I've been snooping around on this website and can only find old info on the Redwood fifth wheels......2011 and 2012. Things have changed a lot in the RV industry since then, and we'd love to hear from current Redwood owners. Would you buy again? Have you been happy with the construction and performance? Has the company stood behind any problems you may have had?
Thanks so much!

I have a 2015 36RL and would buy again. I have had some issues with it which are no different than any other rv out there. Redwood really stands behind their product and have had no problems getting any warranty work done. 90% of my issues have been with supplier parts not build quality

shane wood,
Thanks so much. I've read a lot of negative reviews, but I can't always trust that. People tend to complain more than they praise, so it's nice to hear from someone who likes their unit. And yes, we expect some little things could go wrong with any fifth wheel we buy. Thanks again!

Why not go to a Redwood owners forum? https://www.redwoodrvowners.com/

I was wondering why there wasn't a Redwood forum here on irv2. I didn't think to search for a Redwood forum elsewhere. Thanks for the suggestion!

Bought my 2nd Redwood in June, a 2015 38GK. Spend a lot of time evaluating alternatives to Redwood and decided the decor, design and color schemes were better than the competition. I have already upgraded to disc brakes and 17.5 tires. Next will be shock absorbers and Mor/Ryde SRE4000.
Love the Redwood all over again.

TitanGuy......thanks so much for the pictures! We were not able to see the lighter wood with the light leather seats. The unit we saw had black seats, which we did not like. So I think we'll go with what you have! Thanks!

I have a 36RE, and we like it. Any new RV will have problems, no mater what you pay for it. Go to www.redwoodrvowners,com as stated above. This is the web page of the Redwood Owners Group. Lots of good info there. If you are ordering a new one you will get lots of info on the options availabe, though sometimes in the form of "I wish I had ordered...........

We have been fulltime in our Redwood for 1 1/2 years now and move about every two weeks year round.
We still love our Redwood, the factory has taken very good care of us and resolved any problems quickly.
