I would strongly recommend that people think twice about buying one of these. The hitch moves the pivot point of the fifth wheel farther back from the cab for those of us who have short beds. The issue is there is a wedge that is bolted in on the arm of the fifth wheel. Two bolts are used that are too short so the nut is only grabbing 2-3 threads and can shear easily. The bolts are also a lower grade and are prone to shearing. The last one I had was fixed by the dealer by putting a longer bolt in and cutting a hole in the arm of the hitch so you could slide a wrench in to tighten it. That worked but it cost me a few dollars.
The new fifth wheel I have had the front bolt shear the top threads and drop out. It is just over a year old. I attempted to contact Reese by phone and email and they will not respond to me. They sometimes answer and say they will transfer you to the correct person and you sit on hold for up to an hour when your patience wears out without talking to anyone. Now they won’t even answer. I finally tapped out the whole where the bolt was sheared and put in a higher grade bolt that was a inch longer than the old one as well as a large washer and lock washer. We’ll see how it works when I take it out the next time. Reese is part of Horizon Corp who owns several related RV products including Draw-Tite hitch.

I would have thought the 2nd one would NOT have been a problem if you knew the problem with the first one. I've had the Reese Revolution for 6 yrs and never had the wedge loosen, but I used longer gr 8 bolts & lock tite on the original installation.
I torque my bolts to spec and use loc tite on them. I also check them a couple times per year. You don need to drop the turret and grease it as it tends to stick a bit and doesn’t move as smoothly as it did when new
