Replacing the Magnetek 6345
Several years back I replaced a burnt out Magnetek with a Progressive Dynamic unit with Charge Wizard. It was great for the battery and saved me from adding water all the time. The 5th wheel I just bought has an Magnetek 6345 and I'm considering upgrading it with a PD4645, whick will just replace the electronics of the Magnetek, a drop in solution.
However, I am also installing solar panels for battery charging and don't know how the intelligent charging section of the Progressive Dynamic system will be affected. Any ideas? do I need to disconnect it? Or for that matter, do I need to disconnect the Magnetek charging systems when I go solar?
