Riding in 5er while moving legal?!
My wife just read something off the web that stated riding in a 5er while moving is legal as long as you’re in contact with driver via walked talkie or similar.
Is this true? Is it by jurisdiction? Seems crazy to me but what do I know...

In very few states. Like 18 out of 50 https://www.rvtripwizard.com/rv-info...-road-laws.php
And like seat beats, this is a law for when you are in the state, not just because your registration state allows it.

And once again, just because you CAN doesn't mean you SHOULD.

Thanks. The voice contact part is silly imho. If things go bad none of the first 10 things I’m gonna worry about in a nanosecond is saying, “honey, hold on please” and if it was it wouldn’t matter one iota.

Needs climate control in hot or cold weather.

THAT brought back some memories......
Long Beach CA NAVAL Shipyard in the 70s
Transports from shipyard side to NAVAL Base side.
WE called them 'cattle cars'----they were just box trailers you jumped abroad and hung on then jumped off when it went by where you wanted to go
