I've seen worse damage repaired with Eternabond. It will outlast the rest of the roof. I carry the cleaner and a roll of it with me. I've only repaired one small tear so far, but also put a strip over the spot that the TV antenna lays on and was rubbing the roof.

Sorry it happened, but the eternabond will be a good patch for now, and yes there are still some nice folks around.

I'll second the Eternabond. That's great stuff. Did something similar to mine at a state park in Texas. Low hanging tree branch at the dump station. Not hard to do, just have to get the surface prepped. I put Dior self-leveling sealant around the edges of the Eternabond. The repair will outlast the rest of my roof...

Get a roll of Eternabond, the cleaner and a roll of putty tape.

Take the screws out of the edge treatment and pull it away. Use the putty tape and lay the edge of the EPDM under the edge treatment. Follow the instructions for cleaning and carefully apply the Eternabond tape so it is under the edge treatment.

Screw the edge treatment back in place and trim any Enternabond that is on the wall below the treatment.

Keep an eye on it and repair as necessary. If done with care the repair should last for a long time.

I think I see a common thread here EternaBond. In the tool box with the duct tape & aluminum tape.

Great. Should last for a long time. Regular inspections to keep an eye on it and repair at the first hint of possible leaks. Dicor self leveling to seal/reseal the edges if necessary.

Nicely done. You may want to add a little self leveling caulk around the edges. At least the top and sides.

I can view the attachments. Probably an issue with your browser or what you're using (tablet/phone/laptop, etc) to view the forum.
