RV Lock opinions

We are looking at replacing the factory RV door lock on our 5th wheel. I have narrowed it down to either the RV-LOCK V4 or Latchit. Free free to pro and con each one. They both seem to have the same features.

The latchit lists ip67 rating so I would rate it "better " ...but no actual experience with either product

I've used RVLock since 2015 on my fifth wheel - no major issues, including heavy part time use and over a year of full-time use.

Also used it on my truck camper, for over a year of full-time use.

The only issues I ever had with either were the keypad stickers cracking, which they sell replacements for, for around $10. Keep a couple extra on hand because temp swings and UV will cause them to crack over time, but they're cheap and easy to replace. I went through a sticker every six months or so, with full-time use. They lasted a lot longer when we part-timed.

I'd buy it again if they made one that worked for my DP.

We have 5 RV Locks on our rig. Even since we bought the 3 storage compartment locks a year after the entry door, RV Lock keyed all 5 the same.
When we had the inside of the rear entry door handle break, RV Lock sent a new replacement at no cost.
