Based on personal experience the ones made in Vietnam are every bit as good as they were when they were made in China.

Sailun moved their manufacturing (along with lots of other manufactures from China) years ago when tariffs were laid on China; which I think those had since gone away but are now coming back.

On our 2nd set of Sailuns since October 2017. Sailuns are still very goods tires.
Here is a list of the plant codes for tires:

Can't say I ever had a problem with my Vietnamese made Sailun tires. They went through a bad production run that gave a few folks issues back in (I think) 2020/2021ish, but they were recalled and replaced. The brand is well respected in the RV world.

I can't say it loud enough regardless of country of origin Sailun is the ultimate RV tire if you require a heavy duty tire

Ultimate in what way? How can that be confirmed? Doubt there is really an "ultimate" tire and depending on model and application may not even be an acceptable fitment.

xc-mark, If I remember, the recall was for the ST235/80R16 and ST235/85R16 tires. The 17.5s weren't part of that recall or any other recall (that I could find).
My 17.5s were made in Vietnam.

Ultimate meaning since I upgrade to Sailuns I have not had a tire issue
they wear very well and are very heavy duty.
Of course they have to be a tire that fits your needs.
They come in standard 16" and 17.5 in sizes. They are reasonably priced.
Ultimate means if you buy Sailuns you will not have any problems.
Yes I am just some guy on the internet giving a strong unaffiliated no bias recommendation take it for what it's worth

according to the sailun site there is no Cambodia factory, 3 or 4 in china, one in Vietnam, and one opening in Mexico, but I think the mexico one is strictly comercial tires. they still are in china also, just don't ship from china to the US, but rather Vietnam to avoide the teriffs.

I see Sailun open in 2021 a plant in Cambodia.

The Goodyear Endurance ST tire is MUSA, if that matters. I don't think there is a better trailer tire if it comes in your size.

weird, they don't list it on their global website, and talk about a new commercial plant in Mexico. I'll have to look a bit more. it wouldn't concern me where they are made though as the standards will be the same, they just don't open a plant and let it run with no oversite. China is an example they can make awesomee stuff and they can make crap, it all depends on the specs and oversight from the company the product is made for. and these are sailun plants, not general tire plants that make tires for everyone
