On our new 5th I was going through the under body tidying things up and noticed the crappy job they did with the foam sealant.....so the plan is to remove the foam sealant and re-seal all the openings.

I was thinking of using the marine grade urethane spray foam in a can or something like Permatex RTV automotive silicone adhesive....any other suggestions welcome.

Read the instructions on the can before you buy, most if not all of the spray foam cans will have to be used completely once you start using them so don't purchase a larger can than you need.

I hear you.....I've used the stuff before and there are only a handful of places that I'm re-doing so it will be a one time thing. I'm also considering trying some RTV type automotive adhesive instead of the foam, it looks better then the foam and seals better too, plus I can get a better looking finish.

I went through a similar exercise. I used Great Stuff Rodent preventer foam. I foamed openings throughout the basement, plumbing cutouts in cabinets as well as underbelly hoping to reduce the number of entry points.
