Secret code for storage keys???

The original owner of our new to us XLR Nitro toy hauler had lost his keys to the storage compartments. We have spoken with Forest River and Bauer and have yet to be able to find out what the key code would be based on our VIN number. They are supposed to all be 700 series keys with the last two digits ranging from 0 to 60. Does anybody know the relationship to the VIN number on a Forest River XLR Nitro toy hauler so we can get some replacements??
We just spoke with an owner of a Grand Design Momentum and his key code matched the third and fourth number from the end of his VIN#.
Forest River told us to use the last number in the VIN and that should work. So we ordered some 706 keys on eBay, but they didn't work!

Every rv I have come across has used a 751 key for the storage compartment. But that’s just me.

Take one of the locks out and take it to a locksmith. They can make a key for it..

Allot I have seen are the 751 key or the R001 key. Both, you can get at a RV store for cheap prices.

These are the slam shut latches and apparently everyone doesn't have a key to these. I found out Bauer supplies dealers with a blue core removal key allowing you to remove the core, get the 3 digit code and get new keys. A local dealer let us borrow the blue key, we removed the lock cores and got the code. When we returned the blue key they "gave" us the proper key! Thanks all!
