Sharing good results -failed toilet seal

Allowed our toilet to dry out this winter in Az. Not good. The seal would not hold water more than a few minutes. A new seal would have to be ordered and take days to receive, not to mention taking the toilet apart to install. We were traveling. A Camping World rep suggested we try "Toilet Seal lub and Conditioner" This product is not intended as a fix but only to extend life of seals. Soaked the seal with a rag full of the stuff overnight 4-5 nights. Slowly improved and finally toilet holds water overnight - all day. Think problem solved.
