Casita. Instead of a fiver that short a TT might be a better choice. Northwood used to make a Nash in a couple of short lengths.
Their shortest one now is the Fox Mountain 235RLS
the winnebago micro minnies at 26' 9"- is this small enough?
travel lite is supposed to start making 5th wheels this summer. this is just my guess but since they make truck campers and many of their trailers are on the short side maybe they plan to make a short 5th wheel.
Just went thru this myself and ended up buying a Grand Design Reflection 220RK. 26'1" 6695 empty and 8995 Gross. I wanted something that I could get into State and National Parks and many boondocking spots. I pull with a 3500 Ram 4x4 diesel, auto
The truck hardly knows it is there but it is the truck I have and see no reason to get a smaller truck
Are you wanting short for length reasons alone or do you also want light weight, narrow, etc? There's a whole category of what I refer to as "mini 5'ers" that could be pulled with even some compact trucks and then there's just "smaller" 5'ers that are happy with the average half ton.
Lots of options for both so fill us in a bit and we can assist your search.
