Shower leaking behind wall
We have a brand new Forest River Wildwood Heritage Glen LTZ 2019.
Behind the shower wall it started leaking. We took out the drawers so we could look at the hookup. It looked like the hot water line was leaking where it connects to the nob of the shower. So we put some thread sealer in the screw and thought that might fix it. But as you guess it didn’t. Any help would be appreciated.
Also water only leaks after you’ve took a shower.

Hi...I assume you mean that it leaks when it is pressurized by the water pump, but not when the pump is off. True?
I think you will have to disassemble the plumbing up to where it leaks, remove the part that leaks, reassemble with Teflon tape AND thread sealer like Rector #5, then reassemble. If it's tight enough, it won't leak. But with plastic pipe threads, you can make them tight, but not too tight or you might break the fittings. I have found that using both tape and sealer makes a better seal than either one by itself.

If it is new I wouldn't hesitate..... Get it to a dealer for warranty work. I don't think the threads are pipe thread (tapered) so dope or tape won't do any good. It is probably a compression type fitting. You may be able to tighten it just a little bit or you may take it apart and find out what size "O" ring you need. Those are available at a hardware store.

It is also entirely possible that the black screw on part has a hairline crack....
If its new take it to dealer........

I agree if it is brand new take it back and make them fix it. That is what the warranty is for. Also if you touch it it could effect warranty not sure.

X2
Not pipe thread, tape will not help. There is a rubber seal (or should be) in the fitting. That is likely damaged.

We live in it full time. My husband travels for work so we really couldn’t take it to the rv place. I’ll have him look at what all has been said. Maybe we’ll get it fixed if you guys have anymore ideas let me know. Thanks!!

Call the dealership and explain the problem. They may be able to schedule and appointment and fix it right then instead of having to leave it. That is a problem us full timers have.

Oh, DON'T tell the dealership you live in it full time. Very few trailers or motorhomes are certified for full time use. If you tell them you may void your warranty. Just say you are on an extended trip or something like that.

Check with Forest River and see if they will authorize a mobile repair to fix this. Just tell them that you're on an extended trip, as mentioned, and you can't pick up and go to a dealer...UNLESS...they're willing to pick up accommodations for you for the =entire= time it's at the dealer. :-)

I would replace leaking parts using pex and shark bite fittings.
It is possible you have a hairline crack as others have shared. If there was a few drops of water in the fitting that froze or if it were over tightened by the installer it could be cracked. What may have started our as a small crack that want leaking could have been a weak spot that shaking down the road has turned into a small leak.

Looking closely at that compression nut it looks like it's cross-threaded or possibly cracked/broken on the hidden side. It's not sitting properly on the threads or on the pipe. It's slightly tilted.
Some of you guys must have A LOT of time on your hands to drive your trailer to the dealer and leave it for weeks for a 10 minute fix.

Thread sealer wont work on any of those fittings.
If you used too much thread sealer it gums up the faucet.
Sometime a 1/4-1/2 turn will compress the fitting further and stop the leak
Its possible the stainless band wasn't squeezed enough on the PEX.
Last time I looked Sharkbite doesn't make straight thread compression fittings. The compression fitting is RV/Marine specific.
