How old is it? If it cracked in one place it may be old and brittle and will crack in other places. Might be best to replace it. Also all the plastic rod welding I have seen is done on the back side because it is not pretty.

Residential pans are usually fiberglass but the RV ones seem cheaper.... probably just an acrylic of some type. I almost look forward to things like this in my RV breaking so I can replace them with something better. You can custom order any size of fiberglass pan you need for not too much money. It just might take some time.

Shower pan material

Thanks Mobilemike and mtofell for the info. I took a chance and welded it with the white rod ABS from Harbor Freight and my weller soldering gun connected to a voltage reducer. Did it under and over and installed a support under the drain which was held only by the pan itself; shoddy construction as usual. I intended to replace the pan but could not find this model. Itis a corner shower 34 inches. What exists now is the neocorner of which the corner is tronquated so I would have to replace the walls plastic. Being at a resort for the winter I dont have all mytools .

If you just want to stop a leak until you can replace it I would try using some Eturnaband tape and caulk the daylights out of it. Will not be pretty but will stop a leak.
