Sink and W/D drain
Is it normal that the kitchen sink and washer dryer do not go into a tank? The go right into the main drain line that is only held back by the cap. No gates in the line. So iy can fill the line all the way to the back side of the black water and grey water gates. The only thing that fills grey water tank is bathroom sink and shower. Is this normal?

All drains go to grey tank except toilet, which goes to black tank.

I have not seen a modern RV that the kitchen sink and washer bypass the grey tank.
I suspect you have a galley tank with the gate valve stuck open.

X2. I don't see in your profile the type of RV but I suspect you have a tank with a valve open. On my trailer there is one more valve back behind the rear axle-far from the main tanks.

I found it!!!! There is a rear gate valve way up in the wheel well. So there must be a rear tank for sink and washer and dryer?

Can you post a pic of where the valve is located? I would not like to have a valve directly exposed to debris/mud off the tires. I know all discharge valves have to be exposed in some manner, but having one in a wheel well...
