Question Slide Lube recommendation?

SO... Ive got an old style slider mechanism on my 12 foot living room slide. After not being used for 5 years the slide made this metal on metal screeching sound when I opened it. Looking at the 2" steel slider rails under the floor there are horizontal scratches in the paint on both bars, suggesting the metal guides were cutting into the 2" tube when moving it out.
This bar has a steel gear track mounted on top of it.
Need recommendations for best fix for this issue.
Thanx for any and all advice and experiences.
Also, should I consider lubing the motor drive in the floor?

Maybe wax or a lube meant for roller chain.... I would imagine that any lube would work to clean the surfaces and lubricate the moving parts... but any lubricant like grease, oil would collect dust and durt... Of course those surfaces are enclosed when going down the road but when the slides are out that surface is exposed and can attract dirt.. and dirt will damage the moving surfaces... however a dry lubricant like chain lube would be better...

Spray some silicone on all the moving parts and move them in and out.
Should take care of it.
Don't use grease or WD40. They attract dirt.

Thanks guys. I went with the 'Protect All Slide-Out Dry Lube Protectant'. Got it at CW with their very timely $10 off mail coupon.
Sprayed it on all obvious rubbing parts of slide 2x2 bar and the gear track. Waited 3 hours for it to dry, and voila. Slide works great now and no miscellaneous noise anymore. One more problem fixed, only 10 more to solve before our trip.
