We have a 2021 Vanleigh Vilano 320GK
The main problem is the vinyl flooring on the dining room slide does not lay flat when the slide is extended, a trip hazard and it looks terrible for a so called higher end 5er. Does anyone else have this problem? We are actually in the process of selling trailer and would like to resolve this before hand. Thanks

Go to a tire shop and and get some adhesive wheel weights . They are very flat try sticking them on the edges . Might work .

get some double backed carpet tape. caution, have one shot at putting it down

Try a little heat to retrain it's memory.

I see your in CO. If it's really cold out then the flooring will be stiff? Has it always done this?

I was never a big fan of the vinyl flooring on slides. A few years ago when it 1st started showing up I was walking through an RV at an RV show and the RV had the vinyl flooring in the slide. There was a puncture hole in it on the flap. Maybe a women's pointed shoe heel?

The salesman at Lzy Dzys assured me that when it warmed up it would lay flat. Its just a very poor design, when the slide is closed the flap curls up against the island and since the slide is closed most of the time...... well you get the idea. I am going to have my flooring guy come take a look at it, I may end up changing the flooring on the slide. Very disappointed!!!

Folks on another forum report they put a velcro strip on the bottom of the 'floppy' vinyl with corresponding strip on the floor when the slide is fully extended. When slide is extended they press it down. When it's time to bring the slide in they lift it to free it. I have not personally tried this but I am going to as my 'new to me' 5er has this problem. Not an expensive experiment.
