Slide Out Problem

I have a 2019 Beacon which has hydraulic slides for the dining room slide and galley slide. Functions fine. Then there are two independent slides (electrical) for the bed and for the bathroom / vanity. When I press the extend button for the vanity, I get a short 'effort' which comes to a quick halt. Not a voltage problem. Not showing a fault on the main console. Any ideas of how to diagnose this problem would be appreciated.

After 30 minutes (on shore power) I went back out and the slide functioned properly. It had been on shore power, but I forgot I had the kill switch on. After throwing the kill switch and waiting, it worked. So, it appears that it was a low voltage / amperage issue after all.

Good job, nice easy, cheap repair. Wish we had this type of repair ALL the time.

You should make sure your batteries are holding proper amps . There should be enough power to open your slides and run your jacks without waiting for your batteries to charge up . IMHO .

Well, it sat for a few days at the shop getting the wheels aligned. The batteries are about 1 year old, 6 volt Trojan golf cart batteries. I maintain water levels every 3 - 4 weeks. So, I think they are ok.

Turns out this problem isn't going away. We've been on the road now and at every stop after 5 - 6 hours of driving, the one vanity slide won't go out until I let the batteries charge on shore power for 30 - 60 minutes. The volage on the main display stays around 14.4 v for a few hours. Don't know if this means my batteries are going or what. I have 2 Trojan T-105 6V batteries purchased new Jan. 2021. I've maintained water levels monthly religiously since purchase. The RV has stayed plugged into 50 amp shore power every since the purchase. We made a long 10 month trip last year. Got back home in May of this year and it's been plugged in at home on 50 amps until we left for this trip Oct. 4th. I have noticed that the batteries have taken a small amount of water the last two times I maintained them.
