Slide Problem

I have an 06 Hitchhiker II and started having problem with the bedroom slide. It made noise going in and out. Had a guy look at it and he found motor/gear reduction shaft had a bend it it. Okay, I started looking around for a Lippert 124390 assy but they do not make it any longer and I'm unable to find anything to replace it. Anyone have any suggestions on how this can be solved? THANKS!!!

Wondering if it has a bend in the motor shaft, how that happened?

You might be able to remove the assembly and correct it without buying new parts. It used to retail for over $900!

Most of these types remove from the inside.

Is your bedroom slide chain driven mechanical assembly? If so check out Ultra Fab (800) 860-7571 Contact: Randy, P/N 17-94-0005, this part is not on their website.

I would check with Kansas RV center for the part. Otherwise, you said there was a bend in the shaft. If there is a bend and nothing is broken can you remove it and straighten the shaft. Maybe reinforce things if needed. Everything should be accessible from under the bed. The mattress is the heaviest thing to move.
