Slides sticking along top edge

2016 Keystone Hideout w/2 slides

I regularly go a few weeks or even months between uses of my trailer and keep the slides in. It seems when it's been a while since they've been opened they are stuck along the top. When opening it's as though the bottom moves out and the top holds and then "snaps" free all of the sudden. In the end everything works okay but it sure looks less than smooth. Is there something I can/should be spraying on the mating surfaces to keep it from "sealing" to the trailer? Or, anything else I should be doing to keep things running smoothly?

Try dry lube

Pick up a can of RV Slide Lube... it sprays on foamy and then dries. Supposedly keeps the seals soft and prevents them from sticking to the other surfaces. I've used it occasionally and I guess it does something useful... but hard to quantify what it is. Can't hurt in any case.

Use this stuff everywhere on the trailer seals.

Our 16 Cougar does the same thing. I tried baby powder but it didn't last long. Will try one of the above next. For now I open them a bit, let it break free, then the rest of the way. Can't be good sticking like that.
