Just replaced the nuckle busting glass sliding door catches with soft strong 3M Brand modified cable straps. They use self, very strong, adhesive. No more brocken fingernails.

i have been looking for something to replace my door latches,
them sharp edges have removed to many layers of skin to date

you wouldnt by any channce have a pic of them whole, I am having a hard time picturing them and where i could find em in Home depot or lowes and such. are they for cables like ant, tv etc?

Did'nt have our 5ver more than 3 mos before sliding door latch broke. Studied it a bit, went into my "magic" box, found two metal 2" L's normally used as corner braces (2 screw holes in each leg of them).

Masking taped the two together, kinda like a square Z, slipped this in between the two doors at the bottom rail. Been using this "gadget" for the last 5 yrs now.
