Soft PEX tubing?

This the backside of my wet bay panel. Do you know what type of tubing is on the upper right side? It is not the regular rigid PEX but soft like a drinking water hose-type. The two hoses are from the city water connection and the black water flush port.

Braided PVC Tubing, it is not PEX.

Reinforced vinyl tubing... has reinforcing threads in wall to take more pressure.

I've been wondering about that myself. Ours looks to have conventional PEX type clamp rings on it but I don't know how to spec the correct size. I don't want to use worm gear clamps.

Okay to use worm gear clamps, but do like boaters, use two clamps at each end.

Works well... just make sure the barb is long enough to accept 2 clamps.

There are also high quality clamps that have formed threads vs the slots that weaken the conventional clamps.

I widen 1/2" PEX clamps over a steel punch and then use the crimper to squeeze them on.

Alternative to the copper rings and buying the crimper are the SS clamps. Not as secure as the copper rings but easier to crimp, easier to remove and 2 will fit on the short PEX hose barb.

Took a closer look at the markings (camco fwh ts-25) on this hose. It appears it is just camco fresh water water hose.

Cypressloser, BCBackroads,
Thanks to both of you on the ring recommendations. The hose does have the cinch ring type clamps on it now. I'll look for rings and I already have a set of pliers around here somewhere.........

Gear clamps will work. Using 2 gear (reusable) clamp is the only approved method to secure the fill/vent/pick-up hoses in marine fuel applications.....if something leaks it is easy to repair.
