I have just purchased a 99' Dunes Toyhauler
and would like to put my stock Superduty 16"
Goodyears on but I do not know what the recommended distance between the tire tread
should be? I just want to give enough tire deflection so they do not rub on articulation.

Thanks for any hints.

The LT235/85R-16s were close on my last 5th wheel. I'll bet there wasn't 1.5" between them! Never had any problems.

Thanks Rusty,

My tires are 265/75 r16e so I'll have to take an actual measurement on these tires. Like I
mentioned I'm a rookie owner and any info is
greatly appreciated.
