Splendide Front Load Washer & Dryer for Villano 320gk

Hi all, we are thinking about installing the above in our Villano 320gk.

Our questions are:
* Do you know which models Vanleigh uses for the Villano 320gk?
* Self install or go to a dealer?
* Best/cheapest way to source the Splindide models?
* Are there other front load washer drier models that we should consider apart from Splendide?

Thanks in advance.

Best,
Mark

Uploaded photos of a factory W/D install for your reference. Model numbers are WFL1300XD for the washer and DV6400X for the dryer. Am sure there are alternative makes/models that'll work, but I don't have the experience/background to speak to that.

As for the install, personally, I would schedule an appointment at the Tishomingo Service Center for such a prospect.

While I've turned my own wrench for many years, I don't believe I could muster up the courage to cut the dryer vent hole. And I certainly wouldn't trust my local dealership based on past experiences. YMMV on both of those counts though!

Thank you. Good advice all around.

How do you like your 320gk? (We've bought ours and waiting for the hitch to pick it up.)

Best

You're going to love it. The Vilano is a beautiful RV all around. The standard living, dining, kitchen combo layout really shines in the 320GK; the tall opposing slides really open it up. Very roomy on bottom. Tows great. Camps great. Upstairs is tight everywhere, but who spends a ton of awake hours up there?

My only remaining issue of concern on my RV is the rear AC. Based on another thread, I think I may have unsealed ducting issues in the attic, or an intake/outflow baffle adjustment issue, or both. Regardless, cooling in the back is marginal at the moment. Going to get that looked at in Tishomingo in October. Hoping for a free fix under warranty but am prepared to spring for the 3rd AC too just for good measure.

I had a Whirlpool stackable in our 5th wheel. I really liked it. I could do 3 pair of shorts along with 3 tee shirts and socks was a good load.

The dryer was used if we used the RV Resort pool. It worked well to dry the damp towels that we used to dry off after the pool.

This is personal opinion and others will disagree. We have been full timing for over 11 years and are on our second set of machines. First off if the wall is not cut for the dryer vent I would at least have that cut by a dealership. Other than that is is a DIY job if you are a bit handy. Measure where it is going so you are sure of the measurements. I pulled the door off just for convenience. The first set was stackable Spleindes. We ran them so much I had to put in new bearing in the washer twice. We simply wore out the dryer. Replaced the Dryer with another Spleinde and the washer with an apartment size Whirlpool.

Heard to many bad things about the all in one units (here come the disagreements) but like I said this is my personal opinion.

As for where to get the Spleinde units most any dealer can order them for you. The only source for the units is Westland Sales.
