We are hoping to purchase a 5th wheel in a couple of years and go fulltime in it. The size and weight of the 5th wheels that are suitable is limited by the availability of tow vehicles here and the narrowness and windiness of New Zealand roads. We need something with a loaded weight of less than 3000 kilograms in order to be able to use the commonly available utility trucks (utes).

The 5th wheel that seems most suitable, and is available here, is the Springdale 242FWREL. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of these? What are the pros and cons?

Cheers
