storing 5th wheel for 4 months

Am I better off unplugging the negative battery terminals or leaving my 5th wheel plugged into my house? The 5th wheel is going to sit in my driveway for 4 months. Thank you for opinion(s)

Are you going to be going in/out of it?
When we used to have a seasonal site, we were plugged in 24/7 at the campground.
When I stored it over the winter, I removed the battery and stored inside. So the preference for either is really up to you, neither is bad.
Plugged in, the converter will keep the battery(ies) charged, ready to go.
Unplugged and battery disconnected, wife wants to go out to the camper to show friends, you will need to hookup the battery for slides to work.

4 months over the summer is pushing it, the batteries will discharge more than I'd like, charge them up after a couple months, and before using again. Or leave them hooked up and plugged in. No harm from leaving plugged in if the voltage is below 13.6V after a couple days.

i have a disconnect for my negative and they still go dead after a few weeks. either completely disconnect or leave it plugged in or just charge before you use it again.

Mine is in storage six months every year. Battery disconnected. Never gets a boost charge during the storage period.

Always has enough power after six months to operate landing legs.

The battery bank is a single AGM 4D battery currently in it's sixth season.

My 5th wheel was parked next to house with Full Hookups and was plugged in 24/7

Converter would go into float mode after batteries were fully charged

Checked water level in batteries and didn't need to top off

**due to multiple surgeries 5th wheel wasn't used for over a year

I prefer keeping batteries on chargers when not being used

Depends. 4 months during the summer in Arizona is different than 4 months during the winter in Montana. It also depends on what type of battery you have. Some, in a hot area constantly plugged in will require periodic maintenance, some don't. I have a lithium battery; I unhook the terminals and let it sit over the winter, hook it up in the spring and it is ready to go. I would definitely disconnect the battery terminals if it isn't going to be connected to shore power as there are vampire draws that will completely drain your battery, not good.
