swaping hitches

I want to change out my Reese 15k hitch with a heavier unit that is not so "cranky" and need to know if I can just change hithces and use the existing rails.

I haven't bought a Reese hitch since 1996, but unless something has changed, the rails were pretty much universal (for the lighter hitches anyway - dunno about some of the big monsters!!)

By the way, seeing that this is your first post,

Rusty

Reese 5th wheel rail kit is used on all Reese hitches except for the elite series (different mounting).
