Temp repair against water issues?

Hi, we have a 06 Denali with obvious water intrusion issues in several areas. I'm not scared of tackling them and fixing it all but I don't have time right now for a full on fix. I know water is creating delams and damage by coming thru the bad caulking. Our long term intent is to fix and reattach or rebuild the delam areas with resin but for now... Is just unscrewing the bottom trim and attempting to let any water drain/dry up {possibly sticking a blower between the sections} and reattach, and recaulking the seams an acceptable temporary solution??

I know the water trapped is just going to make it worse, I just want to stop anymore damage for a bit until we have the time to really do it right.

The first step in that repair is to stop the water flow. Seal what needs to be sealed

Second step is to dry out the wet areas. Pull back carpet/flooring and install fans and dehydrators.

Rot , mold , mildew need moisture to grow.

Once the environment is stabilized you can do the actual repairs when convenient.

FIX it RIGHT the first time

I made the same mistake you are talking about. The problem NEVER gets better , it only gets WORSE, We found a soft spot in the corner and did the same your talking about, dried the area sealed every thing within 6 feet of the soft spot. Still had a problem, we had someone out to reseal the roof but the floor still turned to mush. Started with a small about 0.5 sq ft soft spot, we had to replace 80 % of the living area floor. Once water is in the floor it NEVER goes away, it only gets worse. NEVER EVER put off fixing a soft spot in the floor, do it now and do it right
