Well can’t be much to the truck 7,850# payload, the truck can’t weigh more than 6,150#, that is one light long bed regular cab!
ON EDIT: Forgot that is with a 6.2 gas engine.

a strip down long bed standard cab gasser. Talk about misleading. On the web site max payload is via gooseneck. 5th wheel is de-rated alot.

Not a brand debate but according to motor trend. GM is touting all 910 ft/lbs available in all low gears. So it appears they killed torque management which is a good thing.

This is an old article Ford has not released it 2020 towing Spec on their fleet page. so right now you cannot do an apple to apple comparison.

By the way all the manufacturers report these big towing numbers are only available on very special build configuration. But what they all do is if the towing or payload numbers go up by a lot then most of the time there will be increases across all the models
