Third Axle

Has any member ever added a third axel to help shorten the overhang of
11.1/2ft on a 5er?

Can't say I ever have.

Curious why you think that the builder didn't require it when they designed it?

I had a third axle installed on a 2013 Mobile Suites. I had a motorcycle lift put on and the over hang was more than recommended. I cut the wheel well opening and bought the fender flare that they use on their larger trailers and a truck shop moved the hydraulic jack toward the rear and put the axle in place.

Thank you. I am looking in to doing the change after I get the frame problems fixed.
