Tire Rotating, Cleaning/Checking Bearings, Checking Breaks - Plant City Fl Area

I possible could do this myself except rotating tires. (being that I would need multiple Hydraulic jacks and/or jack supports) Lack of personnel equipment and location (without nearby family & equip.) leads me to checkout tire and brake stores which refuse to do RV trailers.
Question?? Is my only recourse to be subjective to RV dealerships???????????

I don't mind paying for quality work, I just don't want to pay their mortgage payment!

Thanks in Advance

Why do you think they need rotating? RV tires usually age out before wearing out. The only reason to rotate tires is if you have a severe alignment problem that's been corrected.

I agree that tire rotation is only needed if you see uneven tire wear, which will indicate other problems. If you insist on doing a tire rotation, then use your spare tire and play musical chair with the tires until you reach the spare tire again.

As far as RV brakes, you most likely can do these yourself. The tools and skills needed to repair brakes would also be a needed to change a flat tire. Just space the brake job out and do one tire/brake a day or week. If you have the will, there is a way!

I just replaced my tires that have lots of thread but cracks were everywhere. I even had to replace the spare that was never used. It is stored under the frame with no sun light and it had more cracks than the other tires. Anyway, the tire thread will outlast the cracking.

You could have kept the spare. Chances are you are still never going to need it and if you do need to install it, then just go directly to the nearest tire shop to get it replaced.

Every town has...... how should I say this.........

inner city tire shops. Places that specialize in used tires and cheep service specifically targeted to poor urban areas. Usually its one boss and three or four guys in an old gas station or parking lot with stacks of tires.

They will jack up your rig and rotate your tires for some cash in hand. Generally super nice and very quick.

Agree with others, no need to rotate trailer tires as the will age out before the tread wears out.
