Tireminder TPMS A1A power booster location

I have a 31 ft 5th wheel and considering purchasing TireMinder aia tpms system. My question is location to mount the power booster. Has anyone mounted it in the front bay compartment with any success? Any other suggestions?

That is where I mounted our unit. I screwed it down on the top of the battery box, it works fine.

I probably overthought mine. I put it in the front closed on the ceiling thinking higher was better. But whatever works.

I zip tied mine to the ceiling of the front compartment, and wired it to the trailer's running lights. I always tow with my lights on, so I don't have to remember to power it up.

I mounted the repeater on my TST system in the front basement compartment right in the middle and right at the 90 degree curve of the chin. It works great. One thing I figured out, too, is I had to start removing the batteries from other items like remote thermometers.

I hot wired mine to the outside right near the batteries and at the lowest point mid-width with antennas pointing downward and clear of the body. Perfect reception and never lost signal. Except one sensor is a problem sensor as it is mounted on a high pressure rubber (flexible) valve stem, a no-no according to the Tire Minder experts and I get some screwy readings even though it is close to the amplifier.
