Top-Most Slide-out Seal

I am trying to get a fifth wheel that has sat for a number of years going again. The seal at the top of one of the slide-out units has rotted and has basically ripped out following extension of the slide. It looks like I can probably replace it with the slide in, but I can't find what it is called. Everything I have found seems to be for the rubber that slides into the plastic "U" channel that fits up around the wall.

I'd like to get a new one of the "U" channel pieces that the slide "flaps" will slot into, this one looks like it has been hurt for a while and is pretty warped and bent out of shape. I'm still trying to get it out without tearing the fiberglass on the side further (tore up about 6 inches or so before we stopped extending the slide). That is a whole other issue to solve after the seal is fixed up.

Does anyone know what the channel is called? When I can get the seal out I can get a pic of it if you aren't sure what it is I am talking about.

I watched a video on replacing slide out seals and I may be mistaken on how the seal actually works. If it dries up some today I'll try and get out there and check out the existing seal and see if I can get any info from it.

It would help to have a make of the 5er and even a photo of the seal. Some have the bulb seal as part of the wiper seal, and some do not. Some have a single wiper seal and others have two (inner and outer seals).

Get the twin wiper seal if you can, they do a better job of pushing off the water.

There is an inner seal and an outer seal on slideout. Both can be replaced fairly easily without removing the slideout (just have to open for outer seal and close for inner - usually partially opening/closing to give access). Just look at what was already there to see how the manufacturer did it as there are multiple methods different manufacturers use.

Try either

https://www.steelerubber.com

Or

www.trimlok.com

if you can't find the seals you are looking for on A-zon.
