I have had both, the drop-in scuffed the paint off the bed, and led to rust.
Our old 2001 Ram had an Xstream spray in that was as old as the truck, and still in great shape when we sold it in June of 2019
Current truck has Pucks and Line-X great product, would never put in another drop in.

Line X has been awesome for us. Lifetime warranty and never an issue...very tough. Currently going on 9 1/2 years with this truck/bed liner.
