I would also look at Travel Supreme, Spacecraft, Citation Supreme, Alpenlite and Automate. Older Sunnybrook Titan's were also very good. All the Newmar's from American Star, Kountry Star, Mountain Aire, Kountry Aire and the few London Aires were all built on the same architecture with exclusions to amenities and of course tandem duals on some..storage etc. Lifestyle were built just as good as any Carriage. Better in some respects. Some of the King of The Road fivers were well built. Alpha Se Ya's had very nice plans. Very hit and miss with quality. Newer one's on the market if want a couple year old stay with Arctic Fox, Luxe and Riverstone. I just went last week to a Texas meet and greet Luxe event in Mansfield, TX. Nice units. The Arctic Fox slide seals are twice as thick as anything else out there. Very important to prevent drafts.

I appreciate all the help from so many. I do have my eyes on a a couple units - one is an Artic Fox and the other is an Outdoors RV.

American star was a low end newmar not on the same level with the mountain airr and kountry aire. Travel Supreme i did miss on my list above.

Alfa was hit and miss the basement air was problematic they either worked flawlessly or never ever worked at all.

The OP did say used and proven 4 season. spacecraft a "used one" never seen one for sale.

The American was the lowest end. But as I wrote they were all made the same when those models were being produced. This is what made those trailers so great. How much fluff do you want? Pay more as the model names increase but no difference in quality. With the exclusion of the dual wheel models the frames were the same, wall construction, slide construction, ceiling and floor insulation and available heating and cooling units were identical. The American will perform just as good in the worst climate just as well as the models with more amenities. With this being said I have only had 4 fivers. Of those I have had I would rate in this order of heating/cooling efficiency.
1) Alpenlite 29RK Valhalla
2) Arctic Fox 32-5M
3) Newmar Mountain Aire 33CKSA
4) DRV 32TK3
I also have a 33.5FK Newmar Kountry Star travel trailer that I bought used 11 years ago that stays at the hunting camp. I will say it performs well. It lacks dual pane windows however.

The use to. Think they still do. Check under Glacier Peak..either mountain or titanium class.

You must not of scrolled down far enough on the floor plan page.
They make 3 5ers and have a brand new floor plan thats just coming off line.

Our Excel does very well in the heat and the cold. We've been looking at something new and heating and cooling ability is very important to us. Arctic Fox appears to be well made and maybe on the level of our Excel but we will probably never see one as there are no dealers within a reasonable driving distance of us. One downside for us is they don't have a residential fridge as an option. I think being a west coast manufacturer their target market is boon docker types so I don't think they have the incentive to make changes.

JDT, there is currently 3 Arctic Fox on the lot in Baird, TX were I ordered mine. I don't know how far this is from you in Oklahoma. It's about 280 miles from Oklahoma city. You might contact them and see if it is possible for them to swap the fridge out. They were great to work with. It may be possible to order one with fridge delete then add a residential. Excel's are great units. Loved the hickory cabinets.

They are almost 400 miles from me in NE Oklahoma. Also, no 325M which would be the one I would consider. I did ask a dealer to see if it was possible to get one without a fridge and install a residential. The dealer asked NW and was told no. I could still change it out but it would have the vent holes in the sidewall and roof that would have to be dealt with. I don't think it is worth it. I could just get the 12 cf fridge and live with it but our past experience was not good with a Norcold. Also, on our 5 or 6 week trips we need every bit of the 18 cubic foot Samsung we now have.

There have been quite a few remove their never cold with a residential fridge
