Dinner in Van Horn

We eat dinner at El Capitan hotel. Excellent salmon, pizza and chicken fried steak with poblano gravy. Sit at the bar, the liquor locker is an old bank vault.

PPA = Passport America
We always eat a Chuys--used to have the Madden memorabilia room, just sports stuff now. Also, the food quality/service seems to have gone down.

Funny thing if you don't pay attention to the ice on the grab handle you may make the 2 thing. That would me taking a 4 slide ride on my Butt.
Thankfully I got 1 small scratch on my arm and I am sore all over could have been alot worse. Moral of the story. Pay attention to the signs.

Glad to hear that the injuries were minor except maybe for your pride. I find that I heal much slower these days now that I'm approaching an advanced age (chronological not mental). I also try to stay out of places that get cold enough to make ice.

Lower Temp Set Point

Temp set points (1-5 or 1-9----1 is the warmest setting)

Lower the Temperature
That will make it COLDER

Pretty simple concept

Maybe he means he lowers the slide on the fin?

Oops, just saw you submitted your explanation before my post.

Lowering the thermistor (slide) will also make it warmer.....IF the fridge uses 'Auto Temp Control' (no temp set point adjustments on upper panel)
UP-----Raise----Colder
Down....Lower....Warmer

So your "set point", is just the arbitrary number on the temp dial. And for fridges that are the same as yours, "Lowering the set point", will make it warmer. But it does not apply to those that have 1 as the coldest, and warmer is a higher number, or ones like mine, that just have a row of lights, and coldest written to the left, and warmest to the right.

Now I feel let down, I thought I was going to learn some new scientific concept.

Glad it was 7up cans and not a water line or something else freezing.

Hope for a fast and speedy recovery!

This year we were traveling over passes at 11,000 feet. Pleased with the way the MH took them but when we sparked and opened the "chip" cabinet. Every bag that was sealed had opened up and some chips were scattered. Luckily no cans exploded or anything else. I'll take chips over soda disasters any day.

I've read posts where people have had their air mattress explode going over very high passes.
