Two things you don't want hear at 0530
We were awoken by what sounded like a gun shot We both jumped out of bed and started checking and found 2 small cans of 7up exploded in the refrigerator at the same time.
After an hour or so cleaning the refrigerator again. (Did it 3 days ago). I decided since it was 27 degrees in Van Horn texas over night I went outside to just do a walk around.
Funny thing if you don't pay attention to the ice on the grab handle you may make the 2 thing. That would me taking a 4 slide ride on my Butt.
Thankfully I got 1 small scratch on my arm and I am sore all over could have been alot worse. Moral of the story. Pay attention to the signs.

Good old Van Horn Texas.
We've stayed there several times going across texas and that's about the most exciting thing I ever heard of in Van Horn.

Had that happen to me when I put a Dr. Pepper can in the freezer to quick-cool & forgot it was in there. Couldn't do anything about the clean up. The spray from the burst can immediately froze to the sides of the compartment & most everything in that side of the freezer. Had to wait 4 days until the end of our vacation/returned home & shut the fridge off.

I was told that John Madden's travel bus used to stay there occasionally when he was going to various games out west.
