Uneven roof membrane

I just replaced my rear filon and all went well, however as I am resealing everything I've run into an issue. Part of the section where the roof membrane is pushed under the metal holder has pulled up uneven. This is going to cause water pooling when stored. It would take several tubes of Dicor self levelling to fill the gaps, and I don't think this is the most effective way to fix it.

The entire membrane is tucked under the metal retainer, as much as I could grab anyway. They didn't leave much to work with.

I think I can do 1 of 2 things... Use a liquid rubber to pour onto the area to fill it or cut out the ripples, staple it down and seal over it once it's flat. No idea what to use for the major resecuring of the membrane though.

How would y'all recommend evening out the membrane to retainer area? I haven't cleaned all of the old dicor out of it yet in case it's suggested it remain as a filler.

Sorry... Can't figure out how to flip the pic. It's right on my phone!

Flipped your pics, but I have no idea on how best to proceed. No doubt others will soon jump in with helpful recommendations, though!

As it was explained to me by a dealer service center.

You can try to re-stretch and re-seal.

Basically pull all of the sealant off of the affected area and pull the metal capture strip.
Re-stretch the membrane over a much larger area.
Re-capture the membrane under the metal strip and re-seal.

Then hope that it holds.

ymmv....
