Great input; this clears things up for me; I like the the thought of keeping the wheels in contact with the ground. I have used the Andersen levelers for side to side leveling with the TT and will continue the practice with the fifth wheel. Takes only a minute; even easier now because i don't have to be as precise.

I agree with Jimmy. I have done this before. Another possibility is IF you can see that there may be a problem BEFORE you unhook dig a shallow hole for the other side and drive into the hole first. That also helps stability.

Another thing to consider about blocks under the lift arms. The front legs on my Bigfoot were extended to far once and the brain went stupid for auto level.
I would not leave the wheels off the ground and stay in it.
