Vanleigh insulation
I have been looking at a purchase of a Vanleigh product specifically a Beacon. I have seen in the underbelly of Grand Designs, DRVs and Luxe where they have insulation in the underbelly. I can’t find any reference in any group or video that shows a Beacon has insulation in the belly.
I saw somebody say that the lack of insulation allows for air flow in the underbelly. I am not an engineer but it would seem to me the more insulation the better especially in what is a high end unit.
Does anybody know if a Vanleigh places insulation in their belly and if not is there a benefit?

I have followed the Vanleigh line since started and find it interesting that they promote themselves as high quality. Yet they are reluctant to show a cut-away or detailed description of their construction including sidewall thickness, insulation, floor and frame design.
I think their quality is more hype with pretty paint and cabinets than what lies beneath the skin.
Their sidewalls appear to still be a standard to inch and not 3 or 3.5 inches like on a DRV or Riverstone.
Carriage and Lifestyle have 2 layers of insulation with a dead air space in between. I'd be curious what Beacon has. For their price and touting themselves on the higher end, you'd expect a little more explanation of the build.

My previous Jayco 27RLS had no under belly insulation, but had a furnace supply duct to that area, and was never a problem in sub freezing temps.

Thanks for the responses.
Techminer - I had looked on their site and didn't see anything detailed like your image. It looks like a different color scheme - is that an old image?
I will reach out to Vanleigh to get the answers. Thanks for the recommendation.

I was going to suggest a factory tour. The gentleman denouncing VanLeigh obviously hasn't taken one. My wife and I have. I have pics out my hindend of the VL process. And it IS ALL THAT.

I did take the tour and you are right - it is all of that! I just missed the piece in regards to how the floor is insulated. I do wish they were more clear on their website about the details of the construction. I spoke with Leigh and he stated they are in the process of redesigning the site.
