Vinyl plank flooring install

Has anyone installed plank flooring with multiple opposing slides. Wondering if the slides push and pull the entire floor or if it stays put

Not sure, we installed a vinyl plank floor in our 5er. When we did I tacked Dow the first row as it is the door side. The planks we used stated not for RV use, but we full time so we don’t ever have the unit sitting unused during a cold winter.

Do you have carpet on the slides? Mine does and I left a carpet edge along the slide. Rolled the edge under and stapled it down good. Then bumped the planks right against the stapled edge and stapled the outside edge of the planks. The carpet from the slide covers all of it and it works fine for the last 4 years.

When I installed mine, which was not the glue down type, I put strips of glue under the slide rollers. That way where the pressure is applied the floor was glued. If not under a slide then the floor 'floats' like normal. So no, the slide movement doesn't cause a problem on the floor.
However, there are other places where the natural flexing of the RV has caused a few of the planks to 'un-click' from each other. I used really then vinyl, if I were to do it again I'd use much thicker product so that the click together sections have more of a bite, and could hopefully hold together as the RV flexes. Or, glue down the entire floor.
