A vinyl roof like on 1970's cars? Most RV roofs are done with a layer of EDPM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) a synthetic rubber membrane, or TPO (Thermoplastic Polyolefin) another type of rubber membrane. There are some newer rooftop coatings, but the EDPM and TPO are the most popular sheet products used on RV roofs.
If you aren't sure, there are YouTube videos that show how to identify between EDPM and TPO. You could also ask at a local RV shop to check your roof and recommend proper care.
