That's a low-rider. Crossing a railroad track on a raised bed and it might come unattached.

Looks cool, but I believe the two are completely different projects. The finished pic on the bottom appears to be a 21 window VW Bus and the top definitely is not. Built for show more than use if you ask me, but cool all the same.

He has some serious $$$$$ tied up in that bottom rig.
Especially with the use of the 21 window bus.

I remember once seeing an old promo video of some sort of fifth wheel concoction...the hitch was on the roof of a beetle. The trailer was similar to something like the little Scamp fifth wheels. You could turn the car completely around under the tongue of the trailer and drive forward to "back" the trailer...now I have to go look for that...
