Warranty Question

We have had repeated work, for the same issue, done on one of our slides... four service calls. During last work our dealer found that the floor was welded unevenly, and agreed to contact the factory. We are still waiting for a repair date from them. ... Our warranty expires on October 20, 2015. Even if the work is completed before that date I am not comfortable with the short period of time to verify that it has been fully repaired, given the history. Has anyone been able to have their warranty extended in a case like this? Any suggestions as to how to approach both the dealer and the factory? Thanks.

A belated; Welcome to iRV2.

First question would be ; Does your home state have a " Lemon Law " pertaining to RVs?
If not , I think you should go after the dealer and factory for a year extension on the warranty, or at the very least on the slide and frame.

Sometimes the frame and slides will have a longer warranty from the frame manufacturer. I would check your paperwork and call the manufacturer and ask.
