water lines? Travel Supreme

I live in a 1983 Travel Supreme 5th wheel. My husband passed last year so I'm on my own. The water gets through the hose but when I turn on any faucet it runs about 15-20 seconds and slows to a trickle and then to nothing. Thinking there is a clog somewhere in the line? Any ideas on how to clear? Second question, I see (I think) how to fill the water tank but where do I turn on the water pump?

Clog:

Check valve at external hose connection:
Remove hose.
Remove screen from input fitting.
Push on plastic "button" inside fitting. It should move freely.

Pressure regulator on input fitting stuck (if you have one)

Valve turned partially "OFF" on water panel (if you have one)

Filter inside (if you have one)

pump operation

The pump on / off switch should be on your main panel - this is not needed if you're hooked up to City water - only if you're using water that you previously filled your potable water tank with. I've never used mine but some people carry water in their unit if they're camping with no water supply

Thanks, the reason I asked is that if I could put a water/vinegar mixture in the tank I could turn on the water pump and send the mixture through the pipes and dissolve mineral deposits but I don’t even know where the electrical panel is. On our avion it is clearly visible but I don’t see it in the travel supreme.

We had a 4 week old on-line (outside hose) water filter go bad the other day and did exactly what you said, check the easy things first! New filter, our problem was solved.

Turns out it was the external valve. Hard to believe a little part could cause so much trouble.
