The heat and humidity say otherwise. Thats where the real world test is. This is based on observation. If it were you and you seen those rvers ask for shade. Wouldnt that be an indicator to you?

To me comfortable is 70-72 in the 100+. if i cant stay that cool my shih tzu doesnt like it. lol

Have to get in my plug for DRV. We have had two of them, and loved both. Had minimal problems with both, other than those that are/were human caused. Lots of 2-5 year old models available out there. Check them out. You will love the finishes, in relation to similarly priced brands in the upper/high tier.

How much propane does it use at below freezing temps using only the gas furnace to maintain 70 degrees inside. How many days at below freezing temps before it uses a full bottle. Any of those test will put rigs to the extreme tests. And thats where you find out who is built the best and who lags behind.

Ive tested my last rig my newmar in said tests against a DRV etc. Electric useage we read meters and compared useage in 24 hour. Both thermostats set to 72. Both rigs full sun only patio awnings deployed. 8kw more used by the DRV and i did a load of laundry in the 24 hour period as well. So the gap was probably a little more. And ill test against any that come along in the future as well because my current rig is better then the last one.

How many slides do you have and what length is your trailer? These will have a large impact on the comparisons you are making to others

The interior of these units are beautiful as are the exterior paint schemes but that no that no means equates to quality. What's under that floor and behind the walls? No much different from any other average manufacturer. Vanleigh does not even show you a cut-away view of its build/structural features. That tells me they are just selling glitz.

Yup, there are a couple manufactures that look darn good inside but lack where it really counts if you are a traveler. I actually called Vanleigh one time and asked if they were considering upgrading something, I think it was if they considered a Moryde IS suspension and the answer was no. In my opinion that stopped my Vanleigh research. They suggested that many of their customers will go to Moryde and switch out suspension after he purchase. Now why the heck would I pay for a suspension knowing I was going to pay to have it yanked out and a new one installed. If they wanted to build the best from the ground up for their customers they would offer Moryde as at least an option. Hey, we owned 2 Tiffin Class A's and we REALLY wanted to love a Vanleigh because we had such great luck with our Tiffin's and admire the family but sorry, no go.
