Some of these new interiors are horrendous. Sizzle sells, so they seem to throw every trendy thing (is blue LED lighting still the in thing? A Grand Design was parked next to me a week ago and the entire underside was lit with blue LED just like the kid in the Walmart parking lot with the clapped out Honda Civic low-rider ) into them without benefit of an interior designer. It's like a visual assault walking into some of these trailers! I can't imagine being able to relax in this type environment. Agreed, that the 'country kitchen' designs from 10 years ago are horribly dated, but there is a happy median some interiors have been able to achieve.

Cathy (SWMBO) was turned off when we looked at Grand Design 5ths. Way too dark, she said.

I agreed, even though the size and layout of their smaller units would have worked for us.

Best looking interior IMO is in the Vanleigh 5th wheels. They have two dark and two light wood choices.

Horrendous to some, liked by others. If the color scheme is that bad don't buy it or decorate with a paint bomb color of your choice....like Mr. Bean.

Seems you just can’t win, that said the “Grandma’s house from the ‘80’s” look can’t die soon enough.

Agree 100%. My medium light interior 5th wheel is too dark for me but it was the best I could find. 5th wheels are dark inside to start with. No need to add dark flooring and dark wood.

Getting carpet out of 5th wheels, trailers and motorhomes was a big step in the right direction. Now to brighten them up.

Something about watching the dog come in on a rainy day and jump on the white couch... Rule #1 for interiors is that they should not easily show dirt. Rule #2 is that they should be easy to clean.

I for one welcome the "new" interiors. I am not a fan of the light colors and dated textures that some RV's still have to do this day. Bring on the darker, richer looking interiors.

Different strokes for different folks.

For us the fun is in redecorating an RV to make it the way we want rather than having to accept anyone else's idea of what "style" is. My wife's red leather Ekornes Stressless sofa isn't for everyone, but it's spectacular looking IMO and very comfy! To each his own.

Th only thing I've seen so far that was decent looking, well at least to me was the Arctic Fox 27-5L Even it had that ugly vinyl flooring. Did the RV industry Get shipload of it on discount or something?

We were considering trading up in the fall. Maybe I'll just keep the old Montanna
Huh...I couldn’t disagree more...but to each their own

Consumer demand has driven the current interiors IMO. Apparently a lot of people like them.

For us too.
When we were looking at RVs to buy the interior colors where the least of our concerns (we think most of them are just boring).
I didn't want to have to redo cabinets, so those needed to suit us, pretty much everything else we have the ability to change.

We expected to have to change the flooring - no matter what condition it was in (which was completed last weekend).
We recovered all of the window valances with something more our style.
Fabric for the dinette has been purchased.
I'm sure there's more to come, but that's half the fun.

Holy Toledo, Nice. Apparently, you can mix and match the woods, frames for one color and inserts another.

The companies need to hire some female interior designers. The last couple of RV shows we went to made it clear that the interiors décor was done by males. It did not bother me a lot but it did my wife. She likes things fluffed up a bit but since we full time it is our home not just a weekender.

Plus I like Golden Oak and I don't like the dark woods. to much like living in a cave.
JMHO.
